{"id":1258,"date":"2024-01-06T08:44:05","date_gmt":"2024-01-06T08:44:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/khojijobko.com\/?p=1258"},"modified":"2024-01-06T08:44:07","modified_gmt":"2024-01-06T08:44:07","slug":"compassionate-hands-for-nepal-open-vacancy-for-project-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.ktmdevelopers.com\/portfolio\/vacancynews\/compassionate-hands-for-nepal-open-vacancy-for-project-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"Compassionate Hands For Nepal Open Vacancy for Project officer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Vacancy Announcement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are pleased to inform you that Compassionate Hands For Nepal, a non-government organization has a vacancy for the following posts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for highly motivated and compassionate candidates who are interested in humanitarian work and being part of the CHFN family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project Officer-1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contract Types:&nbsp;<\/strong>Annual contract (3 Years Project)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reports:&nbsp;<\/strong>Program Manager<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Work based:<\/strong>&nbsp;It is a field-based position, it requires 90% of project work in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project Location:<\/strong>&nbsp;Jugal, Sindhupalchowk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;NPR 48,500 (Monthly Gross with&nbsp;SSF and other&nbsp;benefits)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Experience &amp; Key Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum of bachelor\u2019s degree in development studies or social science.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 3 years of experience working with NGOs, focused on Protection and Safeguarding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that the project team and the community people operate in a secure environment and are aware of safeguarding policies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A very good communication skills with excellent written and spoken Nepali and English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven ability of networking, coordination, and representation skills with key local actors are preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good writing and computer skills, including gathering information directly from the community and from secondary sources to prepare reports and presentations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to plan and organize work effectively and deal multiple task simultaneously.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passionate at helping risked, vulnerable, SGBV\/HT affected women and girls and women at risk of trafficking\/re-trafficking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience of organizing events, consultation, and training facilitation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experiences of working in partnerships, coordination among different stakeholders and organizations at Municipalities \/ Rural Municipalities with Social mobilization skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven ability to learn quickly, facilitate program implementation to achieve stated results and objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to travel extensively between project locations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Having a valid two wheeler\u2019s driving License.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Implement the project activities as per the project plan in the field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise and coordinate with the local government, line agencies, like-minded organizations, NGOs working in the Palika, CBOs, and other relevant community-based structures at the field level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Represent CHFN\u2019s values, vision and mission in the municipalities and districts where we operate in a professional, honest, transparent and positive way to help build CHFN\u2019s image.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Represent the organization in cluster meetings related to safeguarding at the Rural municipality level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To act as the point of contact for any safeguarding, child, and adult protection concerns, providing timely, relevant support and\/or referrals at the field level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help build trust and confidence in CHFN\u2019s reporting, investigation and follow-up systems and foster a climate where team members feel confident and comfortable coming forward with issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure field safety and security for smooth implementation of the project activities in the field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compile events and periodical reports, case\/success stories and prepare monthly\/ quarterly reports and submit them to the line manager.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>We are an equal opportunity employer and\u00a0<strong>woman<\/strong>\u00a0applicants are highly encouraged to apply.
